Being a Father!

I have been a father since 1997. Being a father can be a challenging task at times, especially when you have a large family. Right now I have 5 girls and 1 boy with me. They each have their own personalities in every way. Here is a little about each child.

The first two Skye and Marayah were born in 2000, twins. They are the biggest handful of them all. They plan together how to get into trouble. Don't tell them this, but it is actually kind of cute because they work together and share everything. They currently getting ready to go into 1st grade. They are both very intelligent, learning there ABC's, shapes, colors, and more when the were only a year old. When Susanna was potty training them, she taught them their ABC's, shapes, colors and more. We thought it was a good idea to teach them something while they learn to use the potty. If they were older they would probably be embarrassed by this story.

Krystayl was our next beautiful little girl. Born in 2004, she is so cute with her curls and attitude. She is always happy even when she is not feeling well or tired. She always running around the house playing games, playing with the dogs and she loves her bananas. She is getting ready to start Kindergarten this next fall. She loves to watch Dora the Explorer and speak in Spanish. We are very big on education and bring our children up in the Catholic religion. A little short story, when Krystayl was born she had difficulty coming being born. She wanted to come out face presentation, meaning face up, she just wanted to see the world. My poor baby gave us a scare, when she was on her way out, the doctor saw her head and it didn't look right. The doctor told the nurses to get ready for a c-section. You see Krystayl, was coming out face presentation but because Susanna was having trouble pushing her out Krystayl's face was bruised and swollen because of Susanna's pelvis. Therefore, the doctor thought that Krystayl was coming out butt first and we would need to do an emergency C-Section. It was pretty sad, the doctor couldn't tell the difference between her butt and her face because of the swelling. i keep telling my wife that she just wanted out, no matter what.

Kymberley is our beautiful blond little girl. She is so intelligent and so sweet but she has quite a bit of attitude. She is what we call feisty. If she doesn't know you, she will either be completely shy or she will test you until you give into her ways. She is not spoiled and does not get everything from us but Grandma and Grandpa Platt spoil her rotten. She was born in 2005 and came out knowing what she wanted. She came out with just 2 pushes, no troubles with her.

William our little boy is so handsome. He was born in 2006 and he is a character. This little boy will keep you laughing and amuse you. He is finally starting to walk on his own. When he started eating regular food at 6 months old, he hasn't stopped since. He eats like his father use to. His favorite toy is his blocks that are different shapes that he has to put back into the little box they belong in through the correct shape. He will sit for hours and just keep dumping it out and playing with them again. I can tell he wants more boys in the family though. He enjoys his playtime with his sisters but he likes to play in his room and spend time with daddy more.

Sarah is our newest addition born this year, she is a gem. Although she had problems with her formula, we have switched it and now she is not so colicky. She is in her 90th percentile at the last doctors visit and we have been blessed with healthy babies. All of our children have started sleeping through the night around three months old and Sarah is well on the same track. She only wakes up one time at night.
